Karen, with colleague Maura Hernandez, has been making portraits for new and old friends in a series of quick portrait drop-in sessions called Portrait Fun.
“The importance of fun during these shoots is not to be taken lightly. It’s only because we are having some fun and being creative that we are making successful images that reflect some of the best aspects of our subjects’ personalities,” Karen says. “It also helps that everyone is coming prepared, well-dressed and coifed.”
Portrait Fun is being offered monthly. Later shoots will include stylists. Right now affordability is a priority.
